We are at the forefront of the most advanced techniques that work, both in the fields of martial arts, as well as in the fitness and wellness realm.
Our Teacher Training Program consists of two distinct paths:
5 Elements Studio Fitness & Wellness Teacher Training Program:
a) Learn about movement, yoga, fitness, breathing skills, nutrition, holistic training.
We will cover in depth all of these aspects, and more. This 8-week module will give you the fundamental knowledge and skillset to begin your journey as a teacher educating people of all ages and fitness levels, on the way to indomitable health, fitness and wellbeing.
After covering these vast subjects, we will embark in the art of teaching: how to engage with your audience, empower them, make them feel committed and connected to the path to health & fitness. There will be specific time devoted to teaching kids as well as adults.
5 Elements Studio Martial Arts Training Program:
a) Learn about Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and Mixed Martial Arts.
You will be introduced to the fundamentals of both striking and grappling during this 8-week module, which will allow you to know, both from a theoretical and practical application perspectives, how they work.
We will cover common protocols that are customary when training in these disciplines, expectations the teacher has from the students and how to relate to the training as well as your training partners.
In addition, you will learn how to present it to new comers, so they can relate to what you are teaching them in class.

No, not at all! We find that people start at varying fitness levels. But, you will find that you do get fit by doing our Dallas martial arts classes. Isn’t that the point though? A fun workout that gets results!
All of our classes are open to all skill levels, beginner through advanced. We focus on the fundamentals of jiujitsu, which are simply the most effective parts of the art. We also do a lot of specific drilling and training, which teaches you how to apply techniques and movements during a “live” roll.
No, Competition is not for everyone. And, not all competitions are the same. It can be a good way for students to learn and test their skills, and strive for outstanding achievement. And it is important to be selective as to which competitions are entered. However, you will find that our experienced Instructors can create that type of learning environment within the class.

Absolutely! Women really find that the benefits of doing martial arts training in BJJ is that they learn to protect themselves against a bigger, stronger opponent. Something they never thought was possible. We think ALL women should know how to protect themselves, especially on the ground!
Yes, initially some women find that the close training proximity might be a little uncomfortable. But don’t worry! We will ease you into it, and before long you will be feeling confident, powerful and really looking forward to you regular BJJ classes in Dallas.
